Detroit Lions Frank Ragnow Leaves Saints Game Injured

The Detroit Lions have been forced to shuffle their offensive line midway through their Week 13 contest against the New Orleans Saints.

After the Saints trimmed Detroit's lead to 21-7, center Frank Ragnow left the game with an apparent knee injury.

According to the Lions, Ragnow is questionable to return.

The talented center needed to helped off the field with the assistance of Detroit's medical personnel.

After gingerly walking to the sideline, Ragnow was carted to the locker room for further evaluation.

As a result, veteran Graham Glasgow shifted over to play center while rookie Colby Sorsdal is playing at right guard.

Jonah Jackson has missed time this season battling various injuries.

In his absence, Detroit's offensive struggled against the Packers.

Offensive coordinator Ben Johnson indicated he believed the unit would respond positively this week against the Saints.

“I know our guys, they’re going to respond really well. It was not the best game upfront that we’ve had, really in the last year and a half, it’d be on the bottom end of that. They know that," said Johnson. "And really, it showed up I think more on critical situations, some of those fourth downs Jared (Goff)’s getting hit, third downs, Jared’s getting hit and clearly, we don’t want any of that, so we’re going to clean that up upfront.
