The headline moves are finished for the Carolina Panthers, and Dan Morgan is looking to flesh out the rest of the roster ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft.
On Friday, the Panthers agreed to terms with linebacker Tae Davis, a key special teams player, according to Panthers.com.
Davis joined the Panthers in November, adding depth to a position bogged down by injuries.
The contract details regarding Davis' deal have yet to be released.
He wasn't the only special teamer brought back by the Panthers recently.
On Thursday, the Panthers agreed to terms with safety Sam Franklin Jr. on a one-year deal, according to Panthers.com.
Franklin has led the team in special teams tackles for the last two seasons.
He also had a 99-yard interception return for a touchdown last year against the Minnesota Vikings during the 2023 season.
Franklin has started nine games for the Panthers. He has appeared in 64 total games.
